Job Description
A Brokerage Clerk provides administrative and operational support to a brokerage firm by processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting brokers and clients with account-related inquiries. This role ensures trades are executed efficiently and in compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and record securities transactions, including trades, transfers, and settlements
- Maintain accurate client account records and update databases and filing systems
- Prepare and review trade confirmations, statements, and related documentation
- Assist brokers with daily administrative tasks and transaction support
- Communicate with clients regarding account information, documentation, and routine inquiries
- Monitor transaction details to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
- Coordinate with clearing firms, banks, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies
- Handle confidential financial information with discretion and accuracy

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field preferred)
- Basic understanding of financial markets and investment products
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial recordkeeping systems
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in a brokerage, banking, or financial services environment
- Familiarity with securities regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
