Brokerage Co-ordinator – Job Description
We are seeking an organised, motivated, and proactive Brokerage Co-ordinator to join our Brokerage & Commissioning Team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring that care and support packages are commissioned efficiently, effectively, and in line with the needs of Bexley residents.
You will provide essential administrative and coordination support to the Brokerage service, helping to source, arrange, and monitor care placements and support packages. Working closely with social workers, providers, and finance colleagues, you’ll contribute to the smooth and timely delivery of high-quality services that make a real difference to people’s lives.
About the Role
- Provide essential administrative and coordination support to ensure care and support packages are delivered efficiently.
- Work closely with social workers, providers, finance colleagues, and other stakeholders to arrange and monitor placements.
- Contribute to person-centred, value-for-money care arrangements that meet Bexley residents' needs.
- Occasionally travel across the Borough to meet service needs.

- General office and clerical experience
- Experience working with the public and delivering strong customer care
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including telephone etiquette
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, databases, and email/diary systems
- Strong numeric, organisational, and prioritisation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- A tactful and confidential approach when handling sensitive information
- An interest or background in social care (desirable)
Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and comfortable using IT systems.
