Compensation: £27,000 / year

Description

The Brokerage Administrative Support is responsible for ensuring customer contracts are current and to provide efficient administrative and operational support to the Waste Management Operations team, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance tracking, data analysis, and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders. The role will support service delivery through the management of operational data, reporting systems, and compliance documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Operations team.
  • Maintain accurate data input across internal systems and customer records.
  • Download, collate, and analyse operational reports from customer and contractor portals.
  • Produce regular operational, compliance, and performance reports using Excel and internal systems.
  • Manage and update compliance trackers, ensuring licences, insurances, and supporting documentation remain current.
  • Investigate data discrepancies and highlight trends or issues to management.
  • Assist with customer onboarding, service updates, and operational changes.
  • Maintain accurate filing and document management processes.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and reporting enhancements.
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately, within agreed deadlines, and company procedures.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Essential

  • Previous administration experience within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
    • Pivot Tables
    • VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
    • Data analysis
    • Reporting and spreadsheets
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Confident working with internal systems, portals, and databases.
  • Professional and proactive approach to problem solving.
