Broking Director – London Market 📍 London | Hybrid Working 💼 Senior Leadership Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced London Market Broking Director to join an ambitious and entrepreneurial insurance platform during a period of significant growth and transformation.

This is a rare opportunity for a senior broker to step into a highly visible leadership role, combining technical broking expertise, market leadership and strategic influence. The successful individual will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the broking function, building market relationships and helping drive the continued evolution of the business.

The Opportunity This role will suit an accomplished market professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited by the prospect of building something with genuine momentum. You will act as a senior market-facing leader, overseeing complex placements, strengthening insurer relationships and leading a high-performing broking team. The position offers significant autonomy, commercial influence and the chance to work within a business embracing innovation, growth and long-term ambition. Key Responsibilities 🔹 Lead and develop a high-performing broking function, providing technical leadership across complex placements and renewals 🔹 Maintain and further strengthen key relationships across the Lloyd’s and London insurance markets, leveraging an established underwriter network 🔹 Drive the placement of complex, cross-class insurance programmes across multiple lines of business 🔹 Lead, mentor and develop broking teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture 🔹 Support strategic growth initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimise programme structures and market engagement 🔹 Act as a senior stakeholder internally and externally, managing insurer relationships and negotiating programme outcomes 🔹 Contribute to the continued development of an entrepreneurial and evolving insurance platform
