What difference will you make?
This is HUGE.
If we get it right, we can help create a day when the bombs truly stop falling. We’ll empower children across the world to feel like they can have a say and truly make a difference. This will also help put our work with Bubbles Not Bombs on the map, sharing positive stories about play for children living through unimaginable horrors of war.
What are we looking for?
Global Bubbles Not Bombs Day Event Coordinator (Volunteer) Time Commitment: 10–15 hours per week Duration: Fixed-term contract until September 21, 2026 Role Type: Remote
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in event coordination, project management, or operations
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail
- Virtual or hybrid global event coordination experience is a strong plus
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Availability to commit to this role until September 21, 2026

What will you be doing?
About the Role
As the Event Coordinator, you’ll assist in logistically and operationally executing Global Bubbles Not Bombs Day on September 21st (International Day of Peace). Working to realise our mission, you’ll coordinate a global rollout of simultaneous bubble-blowing events, ensuring all organisers, partners, volunteers, and participants have clear guidance to create a unified, peaceful moment for children in conflict zones.
Key Responsibilities

Event Logistics & Planning Develop and manage a master timeline for Global Bubbles Not Bombs Day, including pre-event preparation and post-event follow-up.

Partner & Volunteer Coordination Act as the central point of contact for local organisers, corporate partners, and volunteers, ensuring they receive all necessary:
- Event toolkits
- Guidelines
- Promotional assets

Resource Management Oversee distribution of physical and digital materials, ensuring timely delivery to participants worldwide.

Communication & Updates Draft updates for stakeholders, partners, and the team to keep everyone aligned as the event approaches.

Day-of Support Provide remote coordination support on September 21st, troubleshooting issues across various time zones to ensure smooth execution.

Post-Event Reporting Help gather feedback, photos, and participant stories to document the event’s impact and inform future campaigns and reporting.
