Responsibilities
About the Team
The Budget and Supply Governance (BSG) team is responsible for managing TikTok's Trust & Safety budget planning and execution, overseeing global BPO portfolio strategies, and optimizing payment and workforce platform solutions. Our scope includes managing BPO budgets, designing resource planning frameworks, ensuring financial compliance through E2E invoicing and cost analyses, and driving process improvements through platform solutions that support our global operations.
About the Role
As a Budgeting & Supply Governance Specialist, you will play a key role in managing our extended workforce partnerships and supporting efficient global resource allocation.
Responsibilities
- Analyze workforce data to support strategic BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) resource allocation decisions
- Assist in budget planning, forecasting, and execution for global vendor partnerships
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Workforce Planning, Finance, Procurement, and Platform Engineering teams
- Prepare data-driven insights to identify optimization opportunities, improve operational efficiency, and drive cost savings
- Support process improvements across BPO workforce tracking, allocation, governance, and billing systems
Learning & Development Focus
- Develop expertise in business analytics, budgeting, and financial modeling
- Strengthen project management capabilities through hands-on ownership of budget initiatives
- Build stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills in a global business environment
- Gain exposure to vendor management, outsourcing strategy, and supply governance operations
- Master data visualization and reporting techniques to communicate strategic insights effectively
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, with graduation within the last 3 years, in either Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or other related quantitative disciplines
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is essential to effectively manage cross-functional collaboration with global stakeholders including China, support seamless communication across regional teams, and navigate complex operational requirements in both languages.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail
