We are seeking a strategic and results-driven estates professional to lead both the long-term stewardship of a key Central London site and day-to-day facilities management, ensuring services are delivered effectively within a compliant and sustainable framework.

Key Responsibilities
Estates Leadership
- Oversee long-term estate planning and align capital works with the Centre’s strategic vision
- Manage master planning for the central site, ensuring alignment with service priorities

Operations & Compliance
- Direct day-to-day maintenance, facilities, and contractor management to sustain operational excellence
- Hold accountability for health, safety, and statutory compliance (e.g., fire safety, regulatory adherence)
- Ensure the building remains a safe, compliant, and efficient hub for services
**Budget &procurement
- Manage budgets for estates projects and procurement, delivering value for money
- Implement sustainability and environmental improvements, enhancing long-term sustainability
Collaboration & Governance
- Work closely with the CEO, Head of HR and Operations, and Board of Trustees
- Embed best practices across estate and facilities management while balancing strategy and execution
What We’re Looking For
Essential Criteria
- Proven expertise in estates, facilities, or property management, with strong experience in:
- Building compliance, renovation projects, and statutory requirements
- Cost-effective facilities management, ITFM, and contractor oversight
- Ability to communicate complex estate issues clearly to senior leaders, trustees, and technical teams
- Undivided commitment to the Centre’s mission of tackling youth and family homelessness
- Experience in balancing strategic long-term goals with day-to-day delivery

Desirable Traits
- A robust understanding of sustainable development and environmental impact
- Experience in charities, social housing, or not-for-profit sectors -'évidence of leading change or transformation within previous roles
