Position: Building Host
Contract Type: Permanent
Hourly Rate: £28,300
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday (Full Time)
Location: Gosforth - free onsite parking and excellent public transport links.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Building Host, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for all guests and occupiers.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- First-Class Customer Service: Be the first point of contact for all building guests, providing a warm welcome and exceptional service.
- Collaboration: Work alongside internal and external partners to exceed expectations and enhance the building experience.
- Administrative Support: Provide effective guidance and support to building users, ensuring a smooth operation.
- Front-of-House Management: Oversee tenant liaison, health and safety protocols, and facilities coordination.
- Event Programming: Help organise events that promote environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.
- Effective Communication: Engage with visitors through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, emails, and social media.
- Visitor Access Control: Manage visitor passes, ensuring security and safety are always maintained.
- Mail Handling: Notify occupiers of deliveries and assist with mail receipt.
- Quality Checks: Conduct regular inspections of common areas and coordinate cleaning to uphold high standards.
- Meeting Room Support: Facilitate meeting room bookings and enhance occupier engagement activities.
- Flexibility: Be willing to adjust working hours to cover for colleagues when necessary.

What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should ideally have:
- 2+ years of experience in a reception, front-of-house, or customer service role.
- A basic understanding of the Property Management industry.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with enthusiasm.
- An accountable attitude with the ability to work independently.
- A confident and outgoing personality, paired with a professional demeanour.
- Strong Communication Skills, Tact, And Discretion.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Familiarity with social media platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
