Building Maintenance Technician
Building Maintenance Technician – Hands-On Site Role
Are you a practical, proactive individual with a strong “can-do” attitude? We’re looking to hire a Building Maintenance Technician to play a key role in maintaining and improving our company sites, ensuring they remain safe, efficient, and compliant at all times.

About the Role
Working closely with the building maintenance team and reporting to the Site Services Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our facilities. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the effective operation and maintenance of all company sites
- Ensuring facilities, fixtures, and equipment are maintained to high standards
- Helping to coordinate planned and reactive maintenance works
- Supporting annual inspections, audits, and compliance activities
- Assisting with new projects and site improvement initiatives
- Helping to maintain safe, clean, and well-organised working environments
- Liaising with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers
- Assisting with contractor management, permits to work, and site access
- Supporting stock control, consumables management, and spare parts storage
- Maintaining accurate records, logs, and documentation

Essential Skills & Experience
- Working knowledge of site services, facilities maintenance, or building services
- Practical skills in fitting, painting/decorating, and repairs
- Understanding of:
- Health & Safety legislation
- Safe working practices
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- A practical, solution-focused approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work:
- Independently and as part of a team
- A flexible, reliable, and professional attitude
