Our passion is people, hospitality, and creating memorable moments. As part of our dedicated Estates team, you’ll help ensure our stunning 5-star environment is safe, immaculate, and running smoothly for both guests and colleagues.
We’re looking for a hands-on, proactive Building Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep of our hotel, spa, restaurants, and Lake House estate. No two days are the same - from routine checks and planned maintenance to responding quickly and calmly to unexpected issues.
You’ll work closely with our Estates Manager and wider operational teams to keep everything functioning beautifully, ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless luxury experience.

Your Role as Building Maintenance Technician:
- Carries out general building maintenance, repairs, and minor installations.
- Supports planned preventative maintenance across the estate.
- Responds to maintenance requests from departments with efficiency, care, and the guest journey in mind at all times.
- Ensures all facilities, equipment, and systems are safe, compliant, and well-maintained.
- Assists with grounds, spa, and accommodation upkeep as required.
- Maintains accurate records and reports issues promptly.
- Works collaboratively with fellow Estates colleagues, contractors, and suppliers.
- Upholds our high standards of presentation and guest experience in every task.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a maintenance, building services, or multi-skilled technician role.
- Strong practical skills across plumbing, electrics, joinery, or general repairs.
- A calm, solution-focused approach and pride in quality workmanship.
- Someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working as part of a supportive team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
- Flexibility to support the needs of a 7-day hospitality operation.

Salary: from £30,654 to £32,292
Gratuities: allocated on a points basis, depending on development tiers. Although variable, average levels are projected as being from £351 to £526 per month.
Hours: 45 hours per week.
