BMS Project Manager - Midlands
An established and growing building automation specialist is seeking an experienced BMS Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of BMS and controls projects across the Midlands region. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and commercially aware professional to manage projects from initial design through to commissioning and client handover.
The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating engineering teams, managing client relationships, controlling project budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Responsibilities
- Manage multiple BMS projects simultaneously from inception through to completion
- Coordinate project planning, resource allocation, and programme management
- Liaise directly with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams
- Oversee procurement of materials and subcontract services
- Monitor project costs, variations, and financial performance
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Support commissioning activities and final client handovers
- Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates
- Review technical specifications, drawings, and control strategies
- Identify and mitigate project risks and delivery challenges
- Maintain strong customer relationships to support repeat business opportunities

Desired Experience
- Proven experience managing BMS / Building Automation projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC controls and BMS systems
- Previous experience delivering projects within commercial buildings, healthcare, data centres, industrial, or critical environments
- Ability to manage project budgets and timelines effectively
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
- Full UK driving licence
