ROLE: BMS Engineer
HOURS: Full-time
LOCATION: Chester

We're looking for a BMS Engineer who will support the performance, optimisation, and reliability of Building Management Systems across client sites in Newcastle and the surrounding areas.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) across multiple BMS platforms, including Trend, Tridium/Niagara, and Distech.
- Diagnose, recommend, and implement system improvements, remedial works, and optimisation strategies.
- Carry out surveys, proposals, quotations, and small works related to BMS upgrades and system enhancements.
- Respond to reactive callouts, ensuring fast, effective, and professional resolution of BMS-related issues.
- Collaborate closely with the Regional Operations Manager and the wider national BMS team to ensure consistent service delivery and system performance.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the below-defined requirements for the role.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working with Trend Controls and/or Tridium/Niagara platforms.
- Ability to modify Trend IQ2 software, and associated schematics confidently.
- Experience with Modbus, MBus, BACnet or similar integration protocols, plus solid HVAC knowledge.
- Strong proficiency using SET or equivalent BMS engineering tools, ideally with an electrical bias.
- Good understanding of IT networking principles including IP configuration.
