We're partnering with a leading property management business on the recruitment of a Building Manager role; where they'll take ownership of a prestigious, high-profile commercial portfolio.

The Role

  • Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of a flagship commercial building of approximately 350,000 sq ft, alongside supporting services across two additional assets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, asset managers, occupiers, and service partners.
  • Lead regular client and asset manager meetings, presenting building performance, operational updates, and service improvements with confidence.
  • Manage and monitor cleaning, security, and specialist contractors to ensure consistently high service standards.
  • Oversee compliance, health & safety, and statutory obligations across the portfolio.
  • Work closely with technical teams to coordinate planned maintenance and support the management of M&E services.
  • Respond proactively to occupier requirements while balancing the commercial objectives of both clients and building users.

What You'll Need

  • Previous experience as a Building Manager managing commercial office assets.
  • A strong Building Manager background with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Sound knowledge of health & safety, statutory compliance, and the fundamentals of M&E services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confidence leading meetings with clients, asset managers, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing external contractors.
  • The ability to balance technical building management with a highly customer-focused approach.
  • A proactive, organised, and commercially minded attitude, with the confidence to take ownership and build trusted client relationships.
