Are you a Building Manager looking for the opportunity to take ownership of a landmark commercial asset?
I'm working with one of London's leading Managing Agents to recruit a Building Manager for a newly refurbished, Grade A office building in the heart of the West End. This is a highly visible role where you'll be responsible for delivering an exceptional occupier experience whilst ensuring the building is operated to the highest possible standard.
The Role

- Build and maintain strong relationships with occupiers, ensuring first-class customer service.
- Oversee hard and soft service partners, driving performance through effective contract management.
- Manage health & safety compliance and statutory obligations.
- Lead service charge budgets and expenditure.
- Support mobilisation of new occupiers following the refurbishment.
- Work closely with asset management and property management teams to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Take ownership of projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the building.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
