About the Role
Are you a Building Services Design Engineer with a mechanical background seeking a highly autonomous, rewarding role where you can position yourself as the go-to specialist while mentoring Junior Engineers?
This exciting opportunity invites you to join a fast-growing, close-knit team, collaborating on multi-million-pound MoD projects ranging from £5k to £3.5m in value.
As a hybrid role, you will:
- Design HVAC, water, and fire suppression systems hands-on
- Work autonomously with flexibility in hours and location
- Balance 70% design work with project oversight (budgets, timelines)

Key Responsibilities
Daily Work
- Developing mechanical designs and technical specifications
- Attending site meetings and coordinating with colleagues
- Focusing on HVAC, water systems, and fire suppression projects
- 70% design work, including detailed CAD/BIM models and technical reports
- Overseeing project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
Environment & Working Style
- Monday to Friday (37.5 hours, with flexible working hours)
- Hybrid working arrangement
