Building Services Engineer
Building Services Engineer (M&E) – Apply Now!
We’re looking for a motivated M&E engineer to join our growing team as a Building Services Engineer. Join us in turning design ideas into practical, sustainable building solutions that support low-carbon, compliant, and client-focused projects.
About the Role
You’ll work closely with architects, contractors, clients, and wider project teams, following the RIBA Plan of Work and supporting projects from concept to construction and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical, electrical, or public health designs from initial concepts through to detailed delivery.
- Prepare:
- Calculations
- Specifications
- Schedules
- Reports
- Coordinated Revit & AutoCAD information
- Ensure adherence to Building Regulations, BREEAM, and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with:
- Clients
- Consultants
- Contractors
- Internal colleagues
- Engage in:
- Site visits
- Surveys
- Progress reviews
- Commissioning activities

Requirements
We’re seeking candidates with:
- Around 5 years’ experience, ideally including at least 3 years post-graduate/qualification.
- A background in:
- Building Services
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Or another built-environment discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Revit
- AutoCAD
- SAP, iSBEM, IESVE, Hevacomp, Dialux, or Amtech (or similar calculation tools).
- Interest in:
- Low-carbon design
- Building physics
- Heat pumps
- Renewable technologies
- A positive, collaborative approach with a commitment to high standards, client service, and continuous improvement.
