We are recruiting a Building Services Fabric Technician to support the day‑to‑day maintenance and presentation of Bicester Village. This is a hands‑on role, working as part of the Technical Services team to deliver planned preventative maintenance and reactive fabric repairs across a high‑profile retail destination.
You will work closely with internal teams and external contractors, ensuring the Village is safe, well‑maintained and presented to an exceptional standard for customers, brands and stakeholders.
Package & Benefits
Location: Bicester, Bicester Village
Salary: up to £35000 depending on experience plus overtime and callout
Hours: 40 hours a week

Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance across the estate Internal and external painting works as required General building works including carpentry, minor plumbing, paving and repairs Support promotional installations and general property maintenance activities Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety legislation, HASAW and company policies Close and update completed PPM tasks on the CAFM system Maintain high standards of workmanship, housekeeping and personal presentation Assist with coordinating specialist subcontractors when required Participate in team duties and respond flexibly to emergencies and call‑outs if required Attend training, meetings and take responsibility for ongoing professional development

Essential Experience & Qualifications
Time served apprenticeship in carpentry (or relevant trade) Minimum 2 years’ post‑apprenticeship experience Experience working in a multi‑disciplined maintenance or facilities environment Comfortable working at height and using powered access equipment Strong communication skills with a proactive, team‑focused attitude High attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
Desirable
Additional trade background or multi‑skilled experience Health & Safety or safety management training Full UK driving licence
