Daniel Owen are representing a well-known client based in London, seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor for a temporary ongoing role.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct property inspections and condition surveys on both residential and commercial buildings
- Identify defects, maintenance issues, and repair requirements
- Prepare detailed survey reports with findings and recommendations
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance works
- Oversee contractors on site, ensuring high-quality outcomes
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for all works
- Assist with damp and mould investigations and recommend remedial solutions
- Prepare specifications, schedules of work, and cost estimates
- Liaise with tenants, clients, contractors, and internal departments
- Support refurbishment, disrepair, and capital works projects
- Monitor project budgets to ensure value for money
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation
- Conduct post-inspections to verify work completion standards
- Ensure buildings meet statutory and regulatory requirements
- Provide technical advice and support to colleagues and residents
