Your new role
As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a broad range of professional and project-led services. You will be involved in a diverse mix of projects including:
- Refurbishment and redevelopment of commercial offices, retail units, and mixed-use schemes
- Condition surveys and lifecycle assessments across varied property portfolios
- Dilapidations (acting for both landlord and tenant) on high-value commercial assets
- Contract administration and project management for fit-outs, renovations, and upgrades
- Technical due diligence for acquisitions and disposals
- Work on historic and listed buildings, requiring a sensitive and informed approach.
- Insurance reinstatement projects following damage

This is a client-facing position where you will manage instructions from inception to completion, providing expert advice while building strong and lasting client relationships.
What you'll need to succeed
- MRICS qualified (or equivalent)
- Proven experience within building surveying, ideally across a mix of professional services and project work
- Strong technical knowledge of construction, building pathology, and contract administration
- Experience handling commercial property instructions is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Full UK driving licence
