Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Building Surveyor role based in the United Kingdom.
The Building Surveyor will carry out:
- Condition surveys
- Prepare technical reports
- Undertake feasibility studies

Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting and assessing buildings
- Advising on repairs and refurbishments
- Managing contracts
- Supporting dilapidations assessments and negotiations
- Collaborating with project managers, cost managers, and technical specialists to ensure projects are delivered:
- On time
- Within budget
- In line with client requirements
- Engaging directly with clients
- Contributing to project documentation
- Maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and safety
Qualifications & Experience
Required skills and experience:
- Strong skills and experience in building surveying and related technical assessments
- Proficiency in conducting condition surveys and preparing clear, structured survey reports
- Ability to undertake feasibility studies, including analysis of options, risks, and costs
- Experience with contract management, including administration, monitoring, and compliance
- Knowledge of dilapidations, including inspections, schedules, negotiations, and advisory work
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., degree in Building Surveying or related discipline; MRICS or working towards chartership is an advantage)
- Good understanding of:
- UK building regulations
- Construction standards
- Health and safety requirements
- Strong:
- Analytical skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and build effective client relationships
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required
