Role: Building Surveyor (MRICS Certified)
Location: Midlands - 1 x day per week in Coventry needed.
Duration: 4 Months
We are looking for a MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor on a 4 month contract to support across a multi-site estate, including repairs, planned maintenance, reactive works and capital projects, while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
What we are looking for:
- MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience.
- Strong background in commercial property, PPM programmes, defect diagnosis, capital projects and statutory compliance.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within a multi-site environment.
- Commercially aware, proactive, organised and willing to travel to support the property portfolio.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to support the management and transformation of a large UK-wide property portfolio. This role combines hands-on building surveying expertise with project delivery responsibilities, supporting both day-to-day property operations and a significant Refresh Programme.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted property expert, managing repairs, maintenance activities, contractor performance, and refurbishment projects across approximately 50 sites. They will be responsible for balancing multiple priorities while ensuring properties remain safe, compliant, and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage ad hoc property and repair queries.
- Conduct site inspections and condition surveys.
- Oversee reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance programmes.
- Support delivery of the Branch Refresh Programme (approximately four branches per month).
- Travel across the estate and undertake final inspections and project sign-off.
- Manage contractors, consultants and suppliers ensuring compliance, quality and budget control.
- Provide technical surveying advice and stakeholder updates.
