Building Surveyor
Location: Leeds Leading Construction Consultancy
Our client, a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy, is looking to appoint an experienced Building Surveyor to join their growing team in Leeds.
This is an excellent opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of public and private sector projects, delivering a broad range of professional building surveying and project management services.
They offer genuine career progression, support towards chartership (where applicable), and the chance to work alongside experienced professionals on high-profile schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver building surveying and project management services across multiple sectors.
- Undertake condition surveys, defect analysis, due diligence and technical reporting.
- Manage refurbishment and improvement projects from inception through to completion.
- Carry out contract administration duties and manage pre- and post-contract responsibilities.
- Build strong client relationships and support business development activities.
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.

About you:
They are interested in speaking with candidates who have:
- A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
- Chartered status (MRICS) or are working towards accreditation.
- Experience in a client-facing building surveying role.
- Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts, CDM Regulations and current building legislation.
- AutoCAD experience (Revit would be advantageous).
- Excellent communication skills and the flexibility to travel across the region.
Experience within education, healthcare, local authority, government or infrastructure projects would be advantageous.
