We have an exciting opportunity for a Building Surveyor / Clerk of Works to join our busy Projects team. The team is responsible for delivering capital and long-term maintenance works across both of our town centre campuses.
As a Building Surveyor / Clerk of Works, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Senior Project Manager to deliver quality construction works. You will be responsible for designing and managing small-scale projects, as well as providing a crucial quality assurance and compliance role on our bigger projects. This role offers an opportunity to support the University in ensuring high-quality builds are delivered in line with specifications and relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and managing small-scale projects
- Providing quality assurance and compliance on bigger projects
- Supporting the Senior Project Manager in delivering construction works
Requirements:
- Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent experience
- Experience in preparing or reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Experience in contract administration and overseeing quality management on-site
