Our Vacancy

Building Surveyor (Disrepair)

Make a real difference to residents’ homes, safety and wellbeing.

We’re looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join our Repairs Team, leading the delivery of legal disrepair cases and ensuring residents receive a high-quality, timely service.

This hybrid role includes attendance at Ealing Gateway every Wednesday, plus a second admin day at a local hub.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage disrepair cases end-to-end, compliant with the Housing Disrepair Protocol
  • Inspect properties, diagnose defects, and gather clear evidence
  • Produce accurate reports and schedules within one week
  • Specify works, estimate costs and manage contractors
  • Monitor delivery, carry out post-inspections, and sign off works
  • Keep residents informed and maintain strong communication throughout
  • Maintain accurate records and support legal processes

This is a specialist surveying role with dedicated administrative support. You'll be responsible for inspections, reports, repair specifications and contractor management, while our central admin team manages appointment scheduling and case administration on your behalf.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
