Are you an experienced Building Surveyor looking for a consistent, high-volume pipeline of work to close out the year?
We have an ongoing partnership with a nationwide client to deliver a major national estate asset management programme. Having successfully completed over 4,000 surveys to date, we are now launching the next phase: a programme of circa 3,800 surveys to be delivered before the end of the year.
We are actively seeking proficient, mobile Building Surveyors to support delivery across the Southern regions of the UK.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Field Surveying: Executing individual programmes of Stock Condition Surveys and HHSRS assessments across a diverse social housing estate.
- Digital Data Collection: Utilising an iPad-based surveying platform on-site to capture precise asset condition data in real time.
- Reporting & Compliance: Completing daily "survey completion forms" (tracking full completions, external-only, or aborted visits) and strictly adhering to project Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Critical Risk Escalation: Identifying and immediately reporting high-risk Health & Safety items, with a particular focus on damp and mould issues in accordance with Awaab’s Law.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
