What we do

We put our Customers and Families First. They are the driving force behind everything we do. We drive forward improvements for them to ensure the service they receive, whether reactive repairs or a major project, is completed safely and on time. In order to achieve this, we have 4 core values: open, caring, agile and collaborative. These are at the heart of everything we do.

Location: RAF Shawbury to also cover Donington
Permanent, Full time
Salary: Competitive

Are you an experienced operational leader with a strong technical background in estates, facilities, or property maintenance? Do you thrive on balancing compliance, customer service, team leadership, and commercial performance while delivering high-quality services in a fast-moving environment?

We are looking for an exceptional Built Estate Manager to lead the delivery of maintenance, response works, and estate management services across a diverse property portfolio.

This is a highly visible and influential role where you will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance, driving operational excellence, leading teams, managing budgets, and building trusted relationships with key stakeholders. If you are proactive, commercially minded, technically strong, and passionate about service delivery, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact.

As Built Estate Manager, you will lead the delivery of all maintenance and response works, ensuring full compliance with statutory legislation, MoD requirements, and health, safety, and environmental standards.

  • Oversee operational planning and performance, managing work programmes, budgets, and resources to meet changing priorities while delivering value for money.
  • Provide technical leadership to mitigate issues and chair Site Risk Meetings as required.
  • Ensure all maintenance documentation is accurate, timely, and correctly recorded within asset systems, while maintaining and updating key estate planning documents such as ESTS and FASP.
  • Work closely with Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) representatives and stakeholders to agree priorities, coordinate delivery, and ensure works are completed to the required standards, with full and timely handover.
  • Lead and develop your team, creating a high-performance culture through clear direction, coaching, and effective people management, while maintaining strong relationships with customers and resolving issues professionally.
  • Drive commercial performance by managing budgets, monitoring profit and loss, controlling costs, and overseeing supply chain performance to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sustainability and support carbon reduction targets, embedding innovative and efficient solutions across the estate.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
