Position: Bulk Driver
Contract Type: Permanent – 45 hrs
Location: Exeter
Shift: Mon-Fri 8am - 6pm

What You’ll Do:
- You will drive a lorry from our exceptional fleet of Volvo vehicles, all less than 4 years old. They’re a joy to drive, and are equipped to a high specification, including fridges, leather seats and many more optional extras to make sure you’re comfortable.
- Most of our sites run from Monday to Friday, with 45 hour working weeks, and 9-hour shifts per day which typically start at 7/8am.
- Our well-organised shift schedules mean you often know in advance where you’ll be driving, taking the stress out of your day.

Key Role Responsibilities
- We don’t micromanage our drivers. We trust them to get the job done and plan their own routes. The average number of stops in a shift is 4 to 6, so there’s plenty of time to enjoy being out on the open road - but you’ll still be home again at the end of every 9-hour shift.
- You’ll make sure Cages, Pallets, Freight, Stillages and Yorks get to and from customers bang on time. At some sites, the goods will be loaded or unloaded for you - at others, you’ll need to do it yourself. Scanning consignments and driving pallet trucks will sometimes be part of your day.
- You’ll be responsible for inspecting your vehicle and trailer every day and complete a Defect Report if necessary.

What We’re Looking For
- Class 1 Driving licence
- Driver CPC qualification card
- Completed required DCPC training hours or be working towards them
- Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Laws - and commitment to safe use of the roads
