Location: Kings Hill / Hybrid Salary: £32,126.17 per annum Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week)
About the Role
As a Bureau Data Analyst Lead, you will lead a team of Bureau Data Analysts responsible for delivering reporting, analysis and insight to public sector customers across energy and utilities. This is an opportunity to shape and influence a growing service, ensuring customers receive high-quality reporting while helping the business continuously improve and innovate.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and developing a team of Bureau Data Analysts to ensure excellent customer outcomes
- Managing team performance, workload planning and delivery against service standards and deadlines
- Supporting colleagues through coaching, mentoring and development conversations
- Ensuring reporting outputs align with high standards of quality, consistency and accuracy
- Challenging existing processes and identifying opportunities for service improvement
- Developing new service opportunities that add customer value
- Managing escalations and operational challenges
- Providing performance reporting and insights to support decision-making and future service development
What We’re Looking For
We seek a candidate with:
- Proven experience managing and developing successful teams
- Strong experience in data, reporting and performance analysis
- The ability to challenge processes, spot opportunities and drive positive change
- Experience in service improvements and measurable outcomes
- Finesse in operational performance, quality standards and delivery targets
- Fluency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
- A proactive, inquisitive and solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
While energy industry experience is beneficial, it’s not essential. We prioritise candidates with strong:
- Leadership skills
- Data expertise
- Service improvement track record
