Business Account Coordinator (6 months FTC) – Norwich

Location: Norwich Contract: Fixed-Term Contract (6 months)

About the Role

We’re seeking a Business Account Coordinator (FTC, 6 months) to deliver a world-class, end-to-end service for our customers. As a true customer champion, your role is to oversee sales orders from order receipt to dispatch, working closely with both customers and internal teams to consistently exceed service standards.

This is a fast-paced role within FMCG/food manufacturing, where accuracy, clear communication, and a proactive mindset are critical. You’ll collaborate across production planning, warehousing, distribution, invoicing, and 3PL partners to ensure seamless order fulfilment and an exceptional customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sales orders with precision, tracking them from initial receipt through to dispatch
  • Maintain end-to-end accountability for order delivery, ensuring seamless collaboration between customers, suppliers, and production teams
  • Advocate for the customer journey, identifying opportunities to improve satisfaction, efficiency, and delivery standards
  • Cross-functionally align with first-line manufacturing, logistics, and financial teams to streamline processes
  • Maintain robust records, reporting, and escalation procedures when necessary
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aiming to drive process efficiency
  • Monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics to guarantee KPI compliance

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Knowledge

  • Background in Customer Services, ideally within FMCG or food manufacturing
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience managing high-volume orders, EDI, and liaising with multiple stakeholders
  • Important: Exposure to continuous improvement and analytical thinking is a plus

  • Clear and confident in written and verbal communication, both internally and with external contacts
