Business Administration Apprentice – JMC Legal Recruitment
Most apprenticeships teach you administration; this one teaches you how a growing business operates. At JMC Legal Recruitment, administration sits at the heart of everything we do. From onboarding new employees and maintaining accurate records, to supporting recruitment processes, reporting, compliance, systems, and internal projects, strong administration enables the entire business to perform at its best. We are looking to hire a Business Administration Apprentice to join our Operations function and develop into a highly capable business support professional. This is an opportunity to gain exposure to a wide variety of business activities while completing a nationally recognised Level 3 Business Administrator apprentice. You will work closely with our Operations Assistant, supporting the day-to-day running of the business whilst developing valuable skills that will provide the foundation for a long-term career within business support, administration, operations, HR, recruitment, or project coordination.

The Opportunity
The apprenticeship is designed to provide broad exposure to business administration within a professional services environment. You will support a variety of business functions including:
- Recruitment administration
- Compliance administration
- Reporting and data management
- Onboarding and employee administration
- Systems administration
- Internal business projects
- General business support
You will gradually take ownership of administrative responsibilities while receiving ongoing support, training, and mentoring. As your confidence develops, you will also have opportunities to become involved in wider business projects and process improvement initiatives.
What You Will Be Doing
Business Administration
- Maintaining accurate records across business systems
- Updating spreadsheets, trackers, and internal documents
- Organising and filing documentation
- Supporting inbox and diary management
- Coordinating meetings and appointments
- Preparing business documents and templates
- Supporting internal administration processes
Recruitment Administration
- Adding and updating candidate records within our CRM system
- Supporting with posting job adverts
- Generally supporting the recruitment consultants when needed
Compliance Administration
- Assisting with candidate file reviews
- Helping to maintain accurate complaint records
- Identifying missing documentation
Reporting & Data Management
- Updating internal reports and dashboards
- Maintaining KPI trackers
- Assisting with management reporting
- Reviewing data for accuracy and completeness
Onboarding Support
- Preparing onboarding documentation
- Assisting with new start administration
- Support system access requests
- Maintaining onboarding checklists
- Coordinating induction administration
What You Will Assist With
As your experience, you will have opportunities to support the Operations Assistant with:
- Process improvement projects
- Administrative workflow reviews
- CRM data quality initiatives
- Internal recruitment administration
- Reporting improvements
- Documentation and procedure updates
- Business-wide administration projects
- Systems administration activities

Training & Development
Alongside your Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship, you will receive training in:
- Business administration
- Professional communication

- Professional workplace behaviours
You will receive regular support from your line manager and gain practical experience that complements your apprenticeship studies.
