Business / Marketing Administrator Apprentice
Hatch Training is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Martial Arts company based in Newton, Birmingham, for a Business / Marketing Administrator Apprentice. This varied role combines day-to-day business administration with marketing responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who is organised, confident communicating with customers, and interested in digital business operations.
Important Requirement – E-commerce Experience
Previous hands-on experience managing e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and/or eBay is essential for this role. Applicants must be confident using these platforms to manage online sales, product listings, customer enquiries, and day-to-day marketplace activities. Unfortunately, applicants without this experience will not be considered.
Duties Include
- Managing emails and responding to telephone enquiries.
- Carrying out general administrative tasks.
- Supporting marketing activities and managing social media content.
- Managing online sales through Amazon and eBay.
- Assisting with digital business operations and customer communications.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

Key Skills & Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience using Amazon and/or eBay to manage the sale of goods or services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Confident using digital tools including email, CRM systems, and social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
The Apprenticeship
The successful applicant will be enrolled on a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship with Hatch Training.

Over the 14-month programme, you will develop knowledge and skills in:
- Business fundamentals
- Compliance
- Communication
- Professional workplace skills
You will attend remote tutor-led training sessions while building practical experience in the workplace with support from a dedicated Skills Coach.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the apprenticeship, applicants must:
- Hold GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above and be able to provide evidence of qualifications.
- Be willing to undertake and complete the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
- Have been living in the UK for at least three years.
Please note: Experience managing e-commerce platforms (Amazon and/or eBay) is a mandatory requirement for this position and should be clearly demonstrated within your application.
