This is an apprenticeship role for a Sales Apprentice Business Administrator at Pump Supply and Repair Group Ltd.

Requirements

  • GCSE in Maths & English and 3 other subjects (grade 4 or above)
  • Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Responsibilities

  • General Administration duties
  • Answering telephone queries & taking messages
  • Dealing with email enquiries
  • Assisting with external and internal customers
  • Helping with office sales
  • General filing
  • Secretary/PA duties
  • Scanning & photocopying
  • Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation (e.g., MS Office or equivalent packages) to write letters, create proposals, perform financial processes, and record/analyse data.
  • Produces accurate records and documents (e.g., emails, letters, files, payments, reports, proposals) and makes recommendations for improvements.
  • Maintains records and files, handles confidential information in compliance with procedures.
  • Exercises proactivity and good judgement, making effective decisions and dealing with challenges maturely.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships within their own team and across the organisation.
  • Demonstrates good communication skills face-to-face, on the telephone, in writing, or on digital platforms.
  • Completes tasks to a high standard, continuously improving their work and sharing best practices.
  • Applies problem-solving skills to resolve challenging or complex complaints.
  • Takes responsibility for initiating and completing tasks, managing priorities and time to meet deadlines.
  • Organises meetings and events, takes minutes, and creates action logs.
  • Takes responsibility for logistics (e.g., travel and accommodation).
  • Uses relevant project management principles and tools to scope, plan, monitor and report.
  • Undertakes and leads projects as and when required.

  • Qualification will be gained on successful completion in approx. 15-18 months.
