Business Administration Apprenticeship
An exciting opportunity has arisen at PIP Lift Service Ltd for a Business Administrator to work within our Service Department. You will be supporting the team with office administration and assisting the lift engineers who will be out on working on client's sites.
Requirements
- GCSE in:
- English (grade 9-4 (or A*-C) or FS Level 2)
- Maths (grade 9-4 (or A*-C) or FS Level 2)
- Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
- Respectful to clients
- Good communication skills
- Good time keeping
- Good team working skills
- Logical thinker
- Reliable and punctual
- Polite and professional
- You will be working in a small office environment which can become quiet noisy.
- Some calls can become demanding so a calm and professional approach is needed.

Responsibilities
- Dealing directly with clients through email, telephone or face-to-face.
- General office admin including typing, photocopying/scanning, filing, outgoing post, etc.
- Taking minutes of meetings.
- Sending quotations.
- Invoicing.
- Logging and allocating breakdowns to engineers, advising clients, etc.
- Logging insurance data.
- Use of social media for the company.
