Administrative Assistant (Business Administration Level 3) – Laser Fusion
Laser Fusion are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated candidate to join their growing admin team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to:
- Gain a Level 3 Business Administration qualification
- Gain valuable on-the-job experience
- Develop transferable skills in customer service, administration, and operational support
About the Role
You’ll play a pivotal part in supporting front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth booking administration, and contributing to the day-to-day business needs of Laser Fusion. Ideal for someone passionate about providing excellent customer service and eager to develop professionally.
Responsibilities
Booking Administration
- Manage and maintain the company’s booking system
- Process new bookings with accuracy and efficiency
- Update, amend, and cancel bookings as requested
- Provide support for bookings via telephone, email, and in-person enquiries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date booking records
Customer Service & Front-of-House Support
- Deliver a professional, friendly, and efficient service to customers
- Handle and respond to incoming calls, enquiries, and walk-ins
- Assist with customer check-in processes
- Maintain high customer service standards
- Offer assistance with general visitor guidance

Administration & Business Support
- Perform general admin duties (filing, data entry, record keeping)
- Support business operations and team efficiency through administrative tasks
- Help maintain company records and documentation
- Assist managers with operational needs where required
Stock Control & Purchasing Support
- Monitor stock levels and inventory accuracy
- Coordinate purchasing orders for goods, supplies, and equipment
- Support stock replenishment and management processes
- Maintain accurate records of suppliers and inventory
Finance & Accounts Assistance
- Help maintain financial records and administrative processes
- Support invoice processing and recordkeeping
- Ensure proper documentation follows company procedures
Working Arrangement
- Hours: 30 hours per week (5 days)
- Schedule: Daily hours to be confirmed (with flexibility required for occasions).
- Location: Busy leisure and entertainment environment (Laser Fusion, Bristol).

Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage: £8.00 per hour
- Wage progression: After 12 months on programme, you will receive an increase to National Minimum Wage.
Qualification
- Level 3 Business Administration qualification included (18 months duration)
- Training provided by: LMP Education
Requirements & Skills
Essential
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Attention to detail and accuracy in daily tasks
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads
- Familiarity with computer systems and booking software
- Professional, friendly disposition
- Willingness to work effectively as a team member
Desirable
- Customer service, admin, or leisure sector experience
- Knowledge of booking/transactional systems
- Experience with stock and purchasing processes
Training & Development
- Full training and ongoing support provided
- Opportunity to grow within Laser Fusion or transfer skills to other sectors
