Job Opportunity at Laser Fusion
Laser Fusion are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated candidate to join their busy admin team. This is a great opportunity to gain Level 2 Business Administration qualification and valuable experience.
This role involves managing bookings, delivering excellent customer service, supporting front-of-house operations, maintaining stock records, processing orders, and assisting with general business administration.
Working Week
- 30 hours per week total
- 5 days per week
- Daily hours to be confirmed
Wage
- £8.00 per hour
- Wage rises to National Minimum Wage after 12 months of being on programme.
Qualification
- Business Administration level 2
- Duration: 12 Months
- Training Provider: LMP Education
Duties and Responsibilities
Booking Administration
- Manage and maintain the company booking system.
- Process new bookings accurately and efficiently.
- Amend, update, and cancel bookings as required.
- Assist customers with booking enquiries via telephone, email, and in person.
- Ensure all booking records are accurate and up to date.
Customer Service and Front of House
- Provide a professional and friendly front-of-house service to customers.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to customer enquiries.
- Support customer check-in processes and assist with general visitor enquiries.
- Maintain high standards of customer service at all times.

Administration and Business Support
- Carry out general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and record keeping.
- Support the day-to-day operation of the business through effective administration.
- Assist with maintaining company records and documentation.
- Support managers with operational and administrative tasks as required.
Stock Control and Purchasing
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate stock records.
- Order goods, supplies, and equipment as required.
- Assist with stock management and stock replenishment processes.
- Maintain supplier records and support purchasing activities.
Finance and Accounts Support
- Assist with maintaining financial records and administrative accounts processes.
- Support invoice processing and record management.
- Ensure accurate documentation is maintained in line with company procedures.

Desirable Skills And Experience
- Previous experience in administration, customer service, or the leisure industry.
- Experience using booking and reservation systems.
- Knowledge of stock control and purchasing processes.
Working Environment
This role is based within a busy leisure and entertainment environment and requires flexibility to support business operations, including occasional evenings, weekends, and peak periods where required.
Training and Development
The successful candidate will receive training and ongoing support to develop the skills and knowledge required to perform the role effectively and contribute to the continued success of the business.
