CLAAS UK provides comprehensive support across Sales, Service, Parts, IT, Marketing and Accounts for its dealer network in the UK and Ireland. In addition, CLAAS UK is the sole wholesale distributor for all CLAAS machinery in the region.

Your Role In Our Team

Based at the CLAAS UK Headquarters in Saxham, we are looking for a Business Administration Trainee to support multiple teams, including Executive Support, Finance, HR, and our Saxham site.

This role offers an opportunity to:

  • Gain hands-on experience across different departments
  • Achieve a professional qualification with full internal support and dedicated study time during working hours

Main Duties:

  • Assist the Head of Business Administration with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
  • Manage compliance-related matters as they arise
  • Oversee the Performance and Staff Appraisal (PSA) process throughout the year
  • Act as the first point of contact for Insurance Claims, including related analysis
  • Organise Charity Committee meetings and events in collaboration with committee members
  • Assist with arranging company events
  • Provide administrative support for company vehicles
  • Support Facilities and site administration as needed
  • Assist with Health and Safety administration, including organising training sessions
  • Cover front-of-house reception duties when required
  • Perform other ad-hoc administrative tasks as necessary

Your Profile

Essential Skills & Knowledge:

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with staff at all levels within CLAAS UK
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality
  • Strong character, capable of challenging when necessary
  • Proficiency in IT skills (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to learn

Working Hours

  • According to business requirements (Minimum 37.5 hours per week)
  • 5 days on-site, with one working-from-home day after probation
  • This role is for a fixed-term two-year training contract

Training & Support:

  • Comprehensive support in funding training costs for your professional qualification
  • Coverage of first-attempt examination fees
  • Dedicated study time during working hours, with additional study expected outside of hours
