We are currently looking for a Business Support Administrator to join our Tax team. This is a key position and is based at our Gatwick office.

Key Responsibilities
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Tax Service Line Support, As Required, Including
- Liaising with colleagues and clients to gather tax return information.
- Preparing tax return letters using agreed templates.
- Speaking to HMRC on clients' tax matters where appropriate and in line with team guidance.
- Assisting with iXBRL tagging of accounts and e-filing corporation tax returns.
- Assisting with the preparation of engagement letters and supporting AML procedures.
- Writing up meeting notes and circulating or filing them as required.
- Scanning, saving and filing HMRC letters and other tax correspondence in line with team procedures.
- Providing administrative cover for the tax team during holidays and periods of absence, where required.

General business support to the office teams as required including:
- Provide front of house cover of reception during office hours on an ad-hoc basis.
- Greeting clients and visitors to the office warmly and professionally and offering them help immediately.
- General site property management, liaising with external contractors, including cleaners, managing agents and equipment maintenance.
- Signing in visitors, supplying visitor badges and monitoring the visitor logbook.
- Notifying the appropriate individual of their visitor arrival.
- Taking and directing calls or referring enquiries.
- Completing administrative tasks including filing, delivering and accepting mail and assisting with daily banking.
- Car park management and booking of car parking spaces.
- Maintaining front door security and reporting any suspicious activity.
- Keeping meeting rooms tidy and supplied with basic office stationery, including pens and note pads.
- Setting up meeting facilities, for example video conference facilities.
- Working with our various teams and assisting with events, for example breakfast seminars.
- Client correspondence including telephone and video calls, letters and emails.
- Arranging catering for meetings and daily office use.
- Monthly billing procedures including drafting bills.
- Supporting the bank audit letter process.
- Maintaining the CCH database, including updating record changes, setting up new records, running reports as required and general maintenance to ensure records are up to date and in line with firm policies.
- Maintaining archive storage records, including ordering records back when required, returning or sending new records to storage.

What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, or relevant workplace experience.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as formal qualifications.

Previous Experience
Experience within a tax, accountancy, or professional services environment would be beneficial, but it's not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with transferable administration and customer service experience who are eager to develop their career.
Travel
There may be occasional opportunities to travel to other offices when required.
