Business Administration Apprentice
Salary: £27,714 per annum
Location: London – Hybrid working, with 1–2 office days per week
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Application deadline: 2 August 2026 at 5:00pm
Overview
Our client is a purpose-led professional organisation that helps people develop careers in accounting, finance, and related fields. They are seeking a motivated Business Administration Apprentice to support a varied portfolio covering customer services, partnerships, product development, and innovation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their career or looking to build broader business experience. You will work across several teams, gaining practical insight into how a successful organisation operates while developing transferable administration, communication, and project coordination skills.
Alongside your day-to-day responsibilities, you will complete a recognised Business Administration apprenticeship. You will receive structured learning, dedicated development time, and support from experienced colleagues and senior stakeholders.
Unlike many apprenticeship positions, this role offers exposure to multiple business areas. One week you may help coordinate an event, while the next you could support a new project, prepare communications, or improve an internal process.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across a varied business portfolio, helping teams remain organised and deliver their priorities effectively.
- Support meetings by preparing agendas, taking accurate notes, recording actions, and following up with colleagues.
- Maintain documents, records, and shared information, ensuring materials are accurate, current, and easily accessible.
- Assist with the coordination of projects, events, communications, and team activities.
- Use Microsoft 365 applications to support administration, collaboration, reporting, and information management.
- Work with colleagues and stakeholders across different departments to support effective communication and teamwork.
- Help monitor tasks, deadlines, and agreed actions.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and ways of working as your knowledge and confidence develop.
- Handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
