Location: Central London
Salary: Circa £29,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Full-time, 4 days per week in the office
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive Business Administrator to join a growing and ambitious professional services organisation based in the heart of Holborn.
This role offers the chance to become a central figure within the business, supporting multiple teams across a wide range of operational, administrative, and project-based activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations, whilst contributing to business-critical projects, team initiatives, and company-wide processes.
This position would suit an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, and takes pride in delivering work to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Administrator will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to technical and operational teams.
- Coordinating contracts, supplier questionnaires, project set-up activities, and invoicing processes.
- Supporting bid and proposal submissions, including compiling, formatting, proofreading, and editing professional documents.
- Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, contracts, and internal documentation.
- Coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements for staff and leadership teams.
- Supporting health, safety, compliance, and business governance activities.
- Assisting with internal events, employee engagement initiatives, and social value projects.
- Welcoming visitors, interview candidates, and clients, ensuring a professional and positive experience.
- Managing incoming calls, correspondence, courier arrangements, meeting room bookings, and catering requirements.
- Supporting wider business improvement initiatives and strategic projects as required.
- Maintaining accurate records, databases, and administrative systems.
- Acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and helping to drive operational efficiency across the business.

Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 1 year's experience in an administrative, business support, or office administration role.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Experience preparing, formatting, and reviewing professional documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence communicating with individuals at all levels.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Office 365.

Qualifications
- Degree-level education is desirable but not essential.
- Relevant administration or business support qualifications would be advantageous.
