Description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-orientated Business Administrator to join our team. As a Business Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Your strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously will make you a valuable asset to our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing administrative tasks
  • Coordinating schedules
  • Providing support to other team members
  • Handling incoming calls and emails
  • Maintaining our filing system
  • Assisting with various projects as needed

As one of the first points of contact for our office, you will greet visitors, answer enquiries, and provide excellent customer service.

The hours for this role are open for discussion, and we welcome applications from those seeking either full-time or part-time work.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
  • Maintain and update our filing system, supporting our transition to a paperless office
  • Coordinate schedules and arrange meetings
  • Prepare documents, presentations, and reports
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Greet visitors and provide excellent customer service
  • Manage the onboarding of new clients and administration of no longer acting procedures
  • Prepare and issue client invoices, carry out credit checks, process credit card payments, and assist with credit control.

Requirements

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and pension scheme
  • Annual leave entitlement commencing at 22 days, increasing to 25 days with length of service, plus bank holidays (FTE)
