Business Ambassador (Wiltshire area) - Volunteer
Our volunteer Business Ambassadors are the heart and soul of our mission. Their expertise and experience are crucial in enhancing the quality of our in-school events, aimed at inspiring our future workforce.
What difference will you make?
The young people that we work with are curious and want to know more about the world around them, and having external people in to talk about the future is extremely beneficial.
They are keen to hear from you about the world of work. Your experience and knowledge will motivate and inspire them to think about their future and give them confidence in their abilities.
Our Business Ambassadors find the events incredibly rewarding. Last year, 100% of our volunteer Business Ambassadors wanted to attend another event!
At EBP, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive community of volunteers who reflect the wide range of backgrounds and experiences of the young people we support. We welcome volunteers from all walks of life, including people of all ages and cultures, those from global majority backgrounds, those from the LGBTQ+ community, those with disabilities, and neurodiverse individuals. We are keen to understand and meet individual support needs wherever we can. We want every young person to feel seen, heard, and represented, and believe that by bringing together volunteers with varied experiences, we can help prepare them for the future with confidence and support. Your unique perspective will help make a real impact!

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
