Business Analyst
Location: Manchester
Contract Length: 6 months
Day rate: £450-£500 DOE
The Role
As a Business Analyst, you'll work closely with business and technology teams to understand requirements, analyse data, and support the delivery of solutions that drive strategic initiatives. You'll play a key role in improving how data is collected, managed and utilised, ensuring solutions are aligned with business objectives and delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business and data requirements.
- Analyse business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support the design of data models and data flows.
- Work with technical teams to deliver data and technology solutions.
- Monitor data quality, performance, and availability.
- Support data governance and data management initiatives.
- Develop data validation and monitoring processes.
- Ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.

You'll ideally have:
- Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Knowledge of data modelling and data governance principles.
- Experience working with ETL/ELT processes or data integration.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms.
- Understanding of data quality and monitoring frameworks.
