Job Title: Contract IT & Software Business Analyst

A leading, large-scale professional services organisation based in Leeds is urgently seeking an experienced Contract IT & Software Business Analyst to support a major, fast-paced IT transformation programme.

The organisation is currently undergoing a significant overhaul of its technology landscape, notably implementing Salesforce alongside a suite of new business applications to revolutionise their operational efficiency and customer delivery. As a contractor, you will be expected to embed quickly, managing the end-to-end business analysis lifecycle to ensure seamless software delivery and systems integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Delivery: Drive the full BA lifecycle, from initial scoping and complex requirements gathering (elicitation, structured workshops) through to functional design, UAT, and final testing phases.
  • Systems & Integration Focus: Map "As-Is" and "To-Be" processes, translating complex business needs into technical specifications for Salesforce integrations and other core business applications.
  • Methodology Alignment: Deliver high-quality documentation (user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs) across both Agile and Waterfall delivery frameworks depending on the project stream.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage and influence senior stakeholders across a complex, large-scale professional services environment, ensuring clear communication between business units and technical delivery teams.
  • Vendor & COTS Collaboration: Work closely with third-party vendors and internal teams on Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software implementation and ERP-related workstreams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
