Business Analyst (Contract) - Leeds
6 Month Contract | £400-£500 per day (Outside IR35) | Mortgage Systems | Business Analysis | Requirements Gathering
Day Rate: £400 - £500 per day DOE
Contract: Initial 6 Months
Location: Hybrid (2 days on-site / 3 remote)
We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a major banking transformation programme, supporting the replatforming of a core mortgage platform. This is a delivery-focused contract where we're looking for someone who enjoys getting into the detail. You'll be responsible for running workshops, gathering requirements, producing high-quality documentation and working closely with technical teams to deliver change.
Recent experience working on mortgage systems is essential. This isn't a role for someone operating purely at programme or leadership level—we're looking for an experienced BA who is still hands-on and enjoys owning the day-to-day analysis and delivery activities.
You'll be joining an established Digital team working on a long-term transformation programme, with the potential for further contract opportunities as the programme evolves.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
