Business Analyst
Business Analyst – Investment Banking (FIC & Front Office Sales)
Location: London Office (Hybrid – 3 Days/Week) Contract: Freelance (Up to £57,500/year via Umbrella)
(Please note: sponsorship cannot be offered. Candidate must have the right to work in the UK.)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Front Office Sales and FIC (Rates, Credit, FX, and/or Emerging Markets) within investment banking.
You will leverage your expertise in data, client reference systems, and business transformation initiatives to collaborate across business, technology, and data teams. This critical role involves analysing complex scenarios, defining requirements, mapping processes, and driving remediation—from problem identification to full implementation.
Key activities include:
- Project scoping and discovery, root cause analysis, and solution delivery
- Stakeholder management and cross-functional alignment
- Data governance, quality improvement, and remediation strategies
- Front-to-back process optimisation in a global banking environment

Experience with sales enablement platforms, CRM systems, and data-driven transformation programmes would be a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis on complex business challenges requiring deep cross-disciplinary collaboration
- Lead requirements definition, process mapping, and data lineage work
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders to drive remediation efforts and transformation initiatives
- Oversee data quality initiatives, governance frameworks, and client reference data improvements
- Liaise with sales enablement teams and demonstrate expertise in CRM and data-driven transformation
- Ensure seamless front-to-back end-to-end delivery in an investment banking context
Requirements

- Minimum of 5+ years in business analysis or supporting roles within an investment bank, corporate banking, or similar financial organisation
- Strong proficiency in FIC (Rates, Credit, FX, or Emerging Markets) and Front Office Sales environments
- Experience delivering data-driven transformations, client reference data solutions, and business process improvement
- Hands-on knowledge of data governance, stakeholder management, and remediation strategies in a complex environment
- Excellent communication skills with business acumen and problem-solving abilities
- Experience using CRM systems or working in sales enablement pillars is a desirable differentiator
