About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Development Manager to lead our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and deployment of our healthcare software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, quality assurance, and customer support to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of software development lifecycle best practices, and a passion for healthcare technology innovation. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) in software development, with at least 2 years in a managerial or team lead role.
- Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, standards, and regulations is highly desirable.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python, and familiarity with modern development frameworks.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of software developers to achieve project goals and maintain high standards of quality.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with product managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, security, and data privacy, especially within healthcare compliance frameworks.
- Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure comprehensive testing and bug resolution.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes and product offerings.
- Manage resource allocation, project timelines, and budgets effectively to meet organizational objectives.
- Act as a point of contact for technical support and client interactions related to software solutions.
