Business Analyst – EMEA Finance

Location

Milton Keynes (Hybrid)


About the Role

We're looking to recruit a Business Analyst to join our EMEA Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in driving operational performance across the EMEA Certification business.

You’ll work alongside Finance, Operational Leadership, and Customer Planning teams, delivering actionable insights through:

  • Reporting and analysis
  • Dashboard development

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting & KPIs: Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for performance tracking and decision-making.
  • Data Analysis: Identify trends, risks, and efficiencies by dissecting operational data.
  • Dashboard Development: Maintain and enhance visual tools (e.g., Power BI) to provide clarity for stakeholders.
  • Collaborative Insights: Partner with Finance Business Partners and leaders to support forecasting, workforce planning, and performance reporting.
  • Workload & Capacity: Analyse resource utilisation (workflow, product mix, recruitment needs) to optimise operations.
  • Revenue & Sales Reports: Support sales teams by identifying growth opportunities and market trends.
  • Multi-Functional Analysis: Respond to broader business reporting needs across diverse teams.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine reporting processes, embedding automation and efficiency.
  • Accuracy & Impact: Ensure reports are data-driven, actionable, and align with business goals.

About You

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Finance Analyst, or equivalent role.
  • Strong data interpretation skills with a focus on turning insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel expertise, including complex modelling, pivots, and data analysis.
  • Experience designing dashboards and performance reports for stakeholders using Power BI or similar tools.
  • Attention to detail, enviable organisational skills, and keen eye for spotting process gaps.
  • Ability to bridge finance and operational gaps—clear communication with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement and adopting automation to simplify workflows.

Highly Desirable

  • SAP experience or familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Power BI/Power Query proficiency for advanced visualisations.
  • Hands-on experience with operational performance reporting or revenue forecasting.

Salary & Benefits

💰 Salary Range (UK): £31,450–£35,000 (adjusted based on experience, skills, and market equity).
