Hamiltonian Dynamics

Hamiltonian Dynamics is a growing technology company working across Defence and Cyber Security, delivering software solutions for high-assurance environments. With teams based in Gloucestershire, Manchester, and London, we are expanding our analysis capability and are looking for Business Analysts to join us.

Requirements

As a Business Analyst at Hamiltonian Dynamics, you will work with stakeholders, product teams, and engineers to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements for secure software systems.

You'll support delivery through process analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, and clear communication across technical and business teams.

We welcome varied backgrounds and experience levels. Analytical thinking, curiosity, stakeholder engagement, and a willingness to learn matter most.

What You'll Do

  • Work with stakeholders to identify and define business requirements
  • Analyse technical requirements and recommend feasible solutions
  • Create technical specifications and design documents that clearly identify product features and improvements
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in product development meetings to ensure project goals are realised
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure business requirements are met
  • Perform system and technical analysis
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the development process

Security & Location Requirements

  • UK citizen with at least 10 years UK residency
  • Must already hold high-level UK security clearance
  • Willing to work on customer site in London, up to 5 days per week

  • Salary band: £40,000-85,000, depending on experience (we may consider more junior or more senior outside this range for the right candidate)
