Business Analyst at Clarion Housing Group

Location: Hybrid with flexible base location

Salary:

  • London: £50,850 to £69,918 per annum
  • National: £46,886 to £64,468 per annum

Hours: 36 hours per week – flexible options considered

Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role

Are you passionate about translating business needs into actionable insights? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where data-driven decisions and stakeholder collaboration drive meaningful change? We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our team who will own the investigation and documentation of change requirements and the associated analysis to help translate them into tangible business solutions.

As part of our Business Change Directorate, you’ll bridge the gap between business and technology, facilitate workshops, gathering requirements, MoSCoW with the business, mapping processes, produce user acceptance and ensuring that solutions align with business objectives. You will be confident in making judgements effectively and recommendations based on evidence and analysis and have experience of translating business requirements into project scopes. Your work will directly contribute to shaping the future of Clarion by enabling smarter, data-informed decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading requirements gathering – Engaging stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into clear functional and non-functional requirements
  • Developing process maps and workflows – Ensuring end-to-end process clarity, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements
  • Conducting impact assessments – Analysing how proposed changes will affect systems, processes, and teams
  • Driving data-driven decision-making – Using analytics to support decisions and identify trends that inform solutions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams – Working closely with Service Improvement Leads /Change Delivery Leads, technical teams, and operational teams to ensure seamless implementation of change
  • Supporting testing and implementation – Assisting in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensuring solutions meet business requirements before deployment

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Business Analyst – Delivering tangible improvement initiatives working in cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – Able to evaluate business processes with clarity, act inquisitively to identify gaps, and use data to recommend improvements
  • Experience with business process mapping and business analysis tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN)
  • Excellent stakeholder management – Able to navigate different perspectives, influence decision-making, and build strong relationships
  • A structured approach to documentation – Experience creating high-standard, detailed process diagrams, impact assessments, and user stories
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies – Understanding of how business analysis supports different project delivery approaches & showcasing adaptability

This is a hybrid role with a base location offered at one of our offices across England. Candidates may be expected to work from the office once per month. Occasional travel may be required.
