Business Analyst

Contract | Inside IR35 | Up to £440 per day

UK Government Experience essential

Active SC Clearance essential

We're supporting a leading UK digital consultancy on the search for an experienced Business Analyst to join a high-profile government transformation programme.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within multidisciplinary Agile teams, helping to deliver digital services that improve user outcomes while supporting the growth and development of Business Analysis capability across the programme.

This role is Inside IR35, offers a day rate of up to £440 per day, and requires travel to London, Milton Keynes or East Kilbride as required.

What you'll be doing

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops and support discovery activities across digital transformation projects.
  • Produce user stories, acceptance criteria and support backlog refinement.
  • Document business processes and identify opportunities for service improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with Product Managers, Delivery Managers, Architects, Developers and Testers within Agile delivery teams.
  • Support knowledge sharing, coaching and the adoption of Business Analysis best practice across delivery teams.
  • Contribute to training and capability development initiatives within the wider Business Analysis community.
  • Use Azure DevOps to manage requirements and support Agile delivery activities where appropriate.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst on Agile digital transformation programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Experience gathering, analysing and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Ability to produce user stories, acceptance criteria and process documentation.
  • Experience supporting or contributing to coaching, knowledge sharing or capability development within Agile teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps would be highly desirable.
